Light Adjustable Lens (LALs) are a type of intraocular lens (IOL) used in cataract surgery. Unlike traditional IOLs, which are fixed in shape and power after implantation, Light Adjustable Lenses can be customized and adjusted post-operatively using a specialized UV light treatment.
